SEDAMAH Association, is a registered charity with the Charity
Commission of England and Wales, and obtained a charity status in 13th of May 2003. Our Object is to alleviate
poverty in the Gambia, Senegal and UK. Since its formation the group is self-funded by its individual members based on
monthly subscriptions, and operating on a very limited financial resources refuse to buckle under such constraints. Because
of our passion, resiliency, and dedication to make a difference in touching someone else's life drives us to do what we do;
to help others in our own little ways for them to know someone out there cares about them.
The Trustees of SEDAMAH Association are really dedicated, and hard-working
individuals who's primary interest is to fulfil their role and safeguard the immediate interest of the association.
We are fully aware of the challenges that lies ahead, the difficulties
that confronts us individually, and as a group. We will continue to work hard and dilligently in achieving the goals set:
To alleviate poverty in The Gambia, Senegal, and the UK.
The time and relentless sacrifices, and voluntary effort we expend
for the ultimate benefit of our community and mankind is significant to the difference we make in peoples' lives
Despite all the inadequacies, in terms of capacity and resources, SEDAMAH
will stand by its ideals and continue to carry out its activities in a modest way to effect life changing situations
to the less fortunate. To this effect, a considerable progress is
made and continue to improve the situation in those areas stated in our object.
Sedamah is incline to learn, share
and develop its ideas and views for better understanding of the work it does towards finding ways and means to alleviate poverty
within our community, Gambia, Senegal, and UK. Our quest to achieve our objective for the sake of humanity is a noble and
laudable cause.
We believe it is never too small to share or give from what you
have to make a change and impact lives, and bring joy and hope in someone else's life. We would encourage
you to give generously and to support those who need help. We value and appreciate any little token of material
or sponsorship significant in course for alleviating poverty.
